Work on Versova bhayandar coastal road begins

The Versova-Dahisar-Nagri Kinara Marg, which falls under Versova-bhayandar, will be constructed by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation and will be connected to the elevated road from Dahisar at bhayandar. Therefore, the road being constructed is of exceptional importance in terms of transportation. This road will allow direct access from Nariman Point to Dahisar and bhayandar, which will also significantly improve traffic in this area.

Work has already started in other areas of the Versova bhayandar route project, except for the Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ). As the Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) permission has not been obtained yet, work has not started in this area. But after getting permission from this, work will also start in this area. The foundation work of this one and a half kilometer long section of the road in Goregaon has also started.

The work on the one and a half kilometer stretch of the Versova bhayandar coastal road in Goregaon has begun. This work has been inspected by the Additional Commissioner of Mumbai Municipal Corporation Abhijit Bangar and he has also taken an inspection tour in this regard. This work has been started excluding the coastal regulation area. This versova bhayandar project will solve the problem of traffic congestion in various sections and areas of the western suburbs. This will make travel in all areas of Borivali, Kandivali, Malad, Dahisar and Bhayandar faster, thus making vehicle travel more dynamic. This will also reduce the problems faced by passengers due to transportation.

The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) is also currently working on the Versova Bandra Bridge. This Versova Bandra Bridge will also solve the problem of traffic congestion in this area. The work of constructing a double-decker bridge under this project is currently in progress. Abhijit Bangar also visited this work this time. Also, under this work, the problem of traffic congestion may arise at the intersection where the flyover bypass descends. Therefore, if additional roads are built in this area, it will definitely benefit the vehicles in Juhu Vile Parle. Also, work should be done to widen the road from the intersection where the bypass of this flyover descends or the road itself so that vehicles coming via the flyover do not have to face the problem of traffic congestion.

Municipal Commissioner inspected various works in the city

During this related inspection tour, Mumbai Municipal Corporation Additional Commissioner Abhijit Bangar also gave various instructions. This time, he also ordered improvements in traffic management. He also said that efforts should be made to complete the project as soon as possible by following up with various government authorities and boards from time to time for the completion of the project. The Commissioner also visited the bridge work underway at Yari via Amarnath Badrinath Housing Society in Andheri West. This bridge in this area will also be connected to the coastal road project, so this bridge is also important.

Some construction works in Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Nagar will also be affected during the construction of this bridge in Andheri West. However, since these constructions are encroachments, instructions were also given to the officials on how to speed up the project by taking appropriate action to remove them.

Since the coastal road project in the Versova bhayandar area will pass through Dahisar, it will also benefit the vehicles in this area. Also, once the permission is received from the Coastal Regulation Zone, the remaining work of this project will also begin in the Coastal Regulation Zone.
