Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde laid the foundation stone for the redevelopment of Marol Mandai in Andheri area and the redevelopment of the hospital in Marol.
Marol Mandai to be redeveloped over the next two years
The Mumbai Municipal Corporation has taken up the task of redeveloping Marol Mandai and the Marol Hospital in the city of Mumbai.The Municipal Corporation plans to provide redeveloped buildings equipped with all the amenities. The entire project is expected to take approximately the next two years to complete.Under this, officially licensed traders in this market will get relief.During this Bhoomi Pujan program, the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Eknath Ji Shinde, as well as MLA Murji Patel, and Deputy Commissioner of Mumbai Municipal Corporation, Vishwas Mote, were also present.Eastern Division Assistant Commissioner Nitin Shukla and Market Division Assistant Manish Walunj were present.
The redeveloped building of this Marol Mandai will be very well-equipped, with separate arrangements for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians.Also, these churches have a special arrangement for loading and unloading goods, as well as a parking lot and a cold storage.This building will provide restrooms for the businessmen there, a warehouse to store their belongings, and separate staircases for ascending and descending.Therefore, a building that is well-equipped from the perspective of customers and professionals will be constructed.
In that Marol Mandai building, the ground floor and first floor will be allocated to existing licensees, while arrangements will be made on the second floor for those affected by the project.The auditorium will be built on the third, fourth and fifth floors. The number of officially licensed businessmen in this congregation is 94. They will also be given stalls to sell fish and vegetables in this building.This entire proposed project is based on a plot of land measuring 1061.61 square meters and will include a grand divine work ranging from the ground floor to the five-story building.BJ Mehta has also been appointed as the architectural consultant to ensure that the overall planning of this redeveloped Marol Mandai takes into account both citizens and consumers.Officially licensed traders will be temporarily relocated during the construction of this market.
Speaking during the Bhoomi Pujan program, Eknath Shinde asserted that the future course of Mumbai should be quality from a development perspective.Similarly, he also said that the government will definitely make efforts to ensure that the roads are free from potholes and are well-maintained.He also said that the work of this church and the hospital will be completed in the next two years and both of these things will be available for the service of the citizens.
Like Marol Mandai, the Marol area dispensary in this area was also found to be dangerous, so a decision has been taken to redevelop that dispensary as well.Therefore, for the time being, this hospital will be shifted to Mangal Nursing Home. The structure of this hospital will also be a basement and five floors.The construction of this hospital has received permission from the Fire Department, Airport Authority and the Building Proposed Department, and work will begin soon.
The structure of this hospital building is mainly a ground floor to five-story building, with an entrance courtyard, parking lot, and vaccination and direct observation treatment facilities available on the ground floor.This dispensary and Hinduruday Samrat Balasaheb Thackeray’s dispensary will be arranged on the first and second floors, while a health post will be set up on the third floor.A dialysis center, which will be a joint public and private facility, will also be arranged on the fourth and fifth floors, so the design of this hospital will also be very beneficial for patients.
