The 27 year old girl lived in the Kurla area of Mumbai city and met the accused Suleman Khan in the same area. This acquaintance later turned into friendship and the two knew each other for a long time.They had a relationship with each other, which led to Suleiman’s closeness with the young woman. Through this closeness, the accused also took photographs of her, many of which were obscene and based on these photographs, he started demanding ransom from the young woman.
The young woman and the accused Suleman Khan had known each other for a long time. In January of this year, they became closer and during that time Suleman took her photograph.At the end of February, he also showed her a photograph and demanded money from her.Along with Suleman Khan, his friend Feroz Khan was also involved in all these cases. Feroz Khan would call this girl for ransom and demand money through this call.
Both the accused in this case lived in the same area where the others lived. Both the young men had no work and were both unemployed.During the action taken against them, mobile phones were also seized from them. These mobile phones have been sent for investigation after being examined.
Both the accused Suleman Khan and Feroz Khan started harassing the girl. Initially, they demanded Rs 32,000 from the girl.But the girl refused to pay this money, so he warned the girl to spread her picture on social media and the media. After that, the girl informed the Sakinaka police about the entire matter.Considering the seriousness of the matter, Sakinaka police immediately initiated action.
Sakinaka police have registered cases against the accused under various sections.
Both the accused have been booked under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including sections 64 (1), 308 (1), 78 and 351 (2) as well as 67 of the Information Technology and Communications Act also Sakinaka Police have said that the accused in this entire case will be given the strictest punishment.
