On Saturday, the spirit of Gopalkala was being celebrated with great enthusiasm all over the city, and in the midst of this, a delivery boy was shot dead in the Lower Parel area of Mumbai due to a minor dispute over a medicine bill.Taking cognizance of the incident, the N M Joshi Marg police immediately registered a case and arrested the accused.

Saurabh Kumar Singh, a resident of Lower Parel area, lived in Prakash Cotton Mill in Hanuman Gali and the accused also worked in a bank. He ordered medicines from an online medicine purchasing app.While delivering the medicines, he chose the cash on delivery option. This delivery boy came to the house of accused Saurabh Kumar Singh with his medicines.They gave him these medicines but at the time of delivery of these medicines he felt that the medicine was short and he refused to pay the full amount and closed the door but the delivery boy was standing outside the door.He also shouted repeatedly and demanded money from outside and also rang the bell around the door but accused Saurabh Kumar Singh did not open the door.

Finally, in frustration, accused Saurabh Kumar Singh opened the door and pointed a large black gun at the delivery boy’s chest, threatening and abusing him, and also threatening him to leave.This time, they also threatened the delivery boy that he would run away or he would shoot him. After the accused showed him the gun, the delivery boy got scared and ran away from there.The frightened youth immediately reached the local police station and narrated the entire incident to the police.

The delivery boy, i.e. the complainant, immediately informed the N M Joshi Marg police about the entire matter and the police also took immediate action on the entire matter.During the investigation into this entire case, it was found that airguns were used in this case. Similarly, ballistics tests were also conducted and these have been sent to the laboratory for further investigation.The delivery boy is a young man of only seventeen years old. He is a resident of the Kapad Bazaar area of Mahim. He also works as a delivery boy for an online medicine delivery company. The accused had also ordered the medicine from this company.The complainant is only seventeen years old, so a life-threatening attack on such a young man caused fear in the area for some time, but the police’s swift action brought the entire matter to a close.

Such a big incident took place in this area due to a minor dispute over the payment of medicines. Following the complaint of the complainant, the N M Joshi Marg police have registered a case against the accused under sections 109, 125,352 of the Indian Penal Code.He has also been booked under sections 3 and 25 of the Indian Penal Code and under section 135 of the Maharashtra Police Act. The accused has also been immediately arrested by the N M Joshi Marg police.This case has been registered against the accused because throughout this entire case, the accused had pointed a gun at the delivery boy.Meanwhile, he was aware that he could be seriously injured and that the delivery boy could also lose his life during this incident, so a case of murder has also been filed against him.The accused, who was arrested during this crime, is currently in police custody.
